Our New Baby

Here is my great grandson. Borned Sept 11, 2006. Isn't he beautiful? 7 pounds and 6 onces...19 and 1/4 inches long.

Bookmark

I finished the bookmark the other day so thought I would post it. I like it because doing it on the ezee knitter it looks the same on the other side, and not thick using the crochet thread.

Ezee Knitter

My friend from Texas sent me this Ezee Knitter today so I had to make something with it. It is so fine a guage, I decided to use some crochet yarn to make a bookmark. I have tired to use the crochet thread on my other looms but it had gaps way to big. I love this guage. I am going to try making doilies on it next.

Black Furry Spider

I don't know what kind of spider you would call this...a cross between a black widow and transula?...lol. All I know is it was easy and fun to make. I made it for my grandson's bed...The legs have wire in them so he can stand.

Another view of the spider

To be able to see more of his body, here is another shot of him.

Pink, Pink, Pink

My daughter wanted something to go with her new pink short set, so I came up with this...she loved them.

First Projects

These are the first projects I ever tried on my round kk's. Now I love to make bags of all kinds.

My Puppy

Project I just finished in one of the groups I belong to, LoomClass. I had a lot of fun making it.

Mariposita Stitch

Here is a new stitch I learned called the Maripositas (Little Butterfly/Bowknot) stitch. It was made with the Lion Brand Chunky on my RG Wonderloom bought at Decor Accents, Inc. Translated from needle knitting to the loom by Isela. It could have been knitted on a smaller gauge loom, but I don't have one yet. The tighter stitch looks so pretty.
